A pet friendly venue in Somerset
Your wedding day is about being around all of your loved ones and for many couples that also means inviting their pets. We understand the importance of your furry loved ones, and it is only fair that they are included in your big day too. Brympton House is one of Somerset's dog friendly wedding venues. There are lots of wants to involve dogs in your day - whether they have their own special role (ring bearers) or simply as VIP guests.

Your pets will help to make your wedding much more memorable, but they also may require some extra planning. Here is our guide on how to keep your pooch calm and well cared for on your day.
If you are worried about having to look after or keep your dog entertained during the drinks reception and wedding breakfast, we recommend looking at getting a dog sitter service, who can walk and take care of your pet during periods of the day.

There are two dog friendly bedrooms at Brympton and so your pets can even stay the night (if you want them too!)
Here are some top tips for having your pet pooch at your wedding:
Think about your pet and their personality. If they are very timid and shy it may not be an enjoyable thing for them. Equally if they are very excitable, they may get overwhelmed! You want them to have an enjoyable day too.
Make sure to let your guests know that your pet will be attending your special day just in case any of your guests have allergies.
Please respect the Grade 1 listed house and Grade 2 listed gardens as well as the local wildlife that live on the estate, as well as hens and swans, by not letting dogs off of the lead if they are likely to run off!
And finally, but most importantly - make sure you bring the pooper scooper to clear up any messes made!
