Pre Ceremony
Our signature Honeymoon suite is a comfortable and spacious setting for you and your wedding party to enjoy on the morning of your wedding. Whilst you are adding the final touches to your outfits, your guests will arrive in to the Great Hall and enjoy pre-ceremony drinks in the Library Bar & Morning Room. Our Library bar opens at Midday and, with its adjoining snooker room, provides the perfect place for guests to relax pre-ceremony.

THE GREAT HALL
The Great Hall is the heart of the Elizabethan house. Great mullioned windows light the room magically and make for some wonderful photographs. The Great Hall is also a sublime space for a Winters drinks reception.

THE LIBRARY BAR
Wood panelled with a restored 1920’s bar counter, the Library makes a lovely spot for pre-ceremony drinks. Our Library bar opens at Midday and, with its adjoining snooker room, provides the perfect place for guests to relax pre-ceremony.

THE MORNING ROOM
One of the loveliest rooms in the house, the Morning Room faces South and is always bathed in golden light…it also has a full-size snooker table, comfy chairs…need we say more!
Ceremony
At Brympton House we understand the importance of making your wedding entirely unique, bespoke and personal – which is why we offer the choice of 3 magical spaces to say “I Do” in.
For Civil Ceremonies you can choose between the romantic Castle House, a medieval building adjacent to the main house, or the sublime Temple on the South Terrace for a dreamy outdoor wedding.
Religious ceremonies can take place in the Church of St Andrews, which nestles in the estate grounds.

CASTLE HOUSE
Castle House dates back to 1350 and with an elegant long aisle, leading up to a beautiful arched mullion window, it has the air of a Church. It provides a perfect ceremony space throughout the year and can seat up to 150 guests. Double doors at the rear of the building lead onto the South Terrace – a wonderful spot to host your drinks reception.

ST ANDREWS
If you would prefer a religious ceremony, then look no further than the beautiful 13th Century St Andrews Church which nestles in the grounds of Brympton House. Described by Simon Jenkins in his book 100 Best Churches as ‘stunning’, St. Andrews is definitely one not be missed and is lit entirely by candlelight.

THE TEMPLE
If you like the idea of an outdoor Ceremony you can say your vows under the pretty façade of the stunning open sided Temple, situated on the South Terrace. With the house on one side, and the beautiful grounds and lake on the other, there can be no finer setting for a romantic outdoor wedding ceremony.
WEDDING BREAKFAST
At Brympton House you can choose between 3 beautiful spaces to serve the most important meal of your life! Our maximum capacity for seated dining is 228 in the wonderfully romantic Ballroom and our minimum seated dining capacity is 30.

THE BALLROOM
The Ballroom is reached from the staircase hall, which boasts the longest, continuous running wooden staircase in England. Dating from 1640 and flooded with natural light the Ballroom can seat up to 228 guests. The ultimate in elegance the neutral décor makes it a blank canvas for any colour scheme; whilst the simple addition of flowers and candles makes it magical.

One of the most spectacular rooms in the house, the beautiful Salon is a perfect space to have your wedding breakfast in.The Salon seats up to 100 for dinner; with windows overlooking the terrace it makes an idyllic Summer dining room whilst the addition of the open fore and candlelight offers warmth to a magical winter wedding.

STATE DINING ROOM
The silk lined State Dining Room is not to be missed. A wonderfully atmospheric space adorned in shades of deep red, it seats up to 60 guests for dinner. With an absence of overhead electric light, the candle chandelier provides a romantic glow. The State Dining Room is suggested as the perfect space in which to enjoy a rehearsal dinner the night before the big day.
THE EVENING + GROUNDS
At the end of your wedding day you can party on with your family and friends in our lovingly redesigned party barn which boasts an impressive marble topped bar, 2 dance floors (the old tack room and hayloft) and a comfy area for guests to relax and unwind.
The Gardens at Brympton House are Grade 2* listed and provide a stunning back-drop for your wedding day. Outdoor Civil Ceremonies take place in the Temple. Blessings, humanist and Hindu wedding celebrations can choose between a variety of delightful outdoor spaces for the ceremony, including the Victorian walled garden, the Temple and on the croquet lawn.
The Gardens encompass 33 acres of stunning parkland, a tennis court and more formal planting.

PARTY BARN
For the evening celebration, we invite you to dance the night away in The Stables which have been cleverly converted in to an evening function suite. Three adjoining spaces offer a fully stocked, marble-topped bar, chill out area and dance floor adorned with fairy lights. Enjoy a hog roast or barbecue on the courtyard while gazing over the beautiful house and enjoying fireworks as a grand finale to your magical day.

BEDROOMS
There are 31 bedrooms in total sleeping 72 guests including 5 family rooms, so ample room for your close family and friends to spend the night. The Bridal suite at Brympton is wonderfully romantic. With its own separate entrance, this spacious suite includes a sitting room and large bedroom with French Baroque style bed. 100 beautiful Glamping tents are also available.
