A DIFFERENT SPACE FOR EVERY PART OF YOUR DAY

Pre Ceremony

Our signature Honeymoon suite is a comfortable and spacious setting for you and your wedding party to enjoy on the morning of your wedding. Whilst you are adding the final touches to your outfits, your guests will arrive in to the Great Hall and enjoy pre-ceremony drinks in the Library Bar & Morning Room. Our Library bar opens at Midday and, with its adjoining snooker room, provides the perfect place for guests to relax pre-ceremony.

THE GREAT HALL

The Great Hall is the heart of the Elizabethan house. Great mullioned windows light the room magically and make for some wonderful photographs. The Great Hall is also a sublime space for a Winters drinks reception.

THE LIBRARY BAR

Wood panelled with a restored 1920’s bar counter, the Library makes a lovely spot for pre-ceremony drinks. Our Library bar opens at Midday and, with its adjoining snooker room, provides the perfect place for guests to relax pre-ceremony.

THE MORNING ROOM

One of the loveliest rooms in the house, the Morning Room faces South and is always bathed in golden light…it also has a full-size snooker table, comfy chairs…need we say more!

Ceremony

At Brympton House we understand the importance of making your wedding entirely unique, bespoke and personal – which is why we offer the choice of 3 magical spaces to say “I Do” in.

For Civil Ceremonies you can choose between the romantic Castle House, a medieval building adjacent to the main house, or the sublime Temple on the South Terrace for a dreamy outdoor wedding.

Religious ceremonies can take place in the Church of St Andrews, which nestles in the estate grounds.

CASTLE HOUSE

Castle House dates back to 1350 and with an elegant long aisle, leading up to a beautiful arched mullion window, it has the air of a Church. It provides a perfect ceremony space throughout the year and can seat up to 150 guests. Double doors at the rear of the building lead onto the South Terrace – a wonderful spot to host your drinks reception.

ST ANDREWS

If you would prefer a religious ceremony, then look no further than the beautiful 13th Century St Andrews Church which nestles in the grounds of Brympton House. Described by Simon Jenkins in his book 100 Best Churches as ‘stunning’, St. Andrews is definitely one not be missed and is lit entirely by candlelight.

THE TEMPLE

If you like the idea of an outdoor Ceremony you can say your vows under the pretty façade of the stunning open sided Temple, situated on the South Terrace. With the house on one side, and the beautiful grounds and lake on the other, there can be no finer setting for a romantic outdoor wedding ceremony.
