Educational Courses at Brympton House
Brympton House provides a wonderful resource for lifelong learning. A range of educational activtiies are organised throughout the year and are suitable for a wide range of age groups.
Our Education Officer works directly with primary and secondary schools on curriculum based themes relating to the House; any school wishing to make use of this educational resource should contact her on 01935 862528. School visits can be tailor made for the age range and abilities of the children concerned; from games and drama workshops for the younger children to study days highlighting Medieval and Elizabethan architecture or the Grade 2* listed gardens for the older pupils.
Group visits from educational and historical organisations interested in the heritage and conservation of Brympton House are encouraged. Previous group visits have included the HHA [Historic Houses Association] and the Dorset Churches Trust. Applications for group visits should be made to the House office on 01935 862528.
As well as an onsite OFSTED registered nursery school [age range from 2 to 5 years] we offer a fun and educational activity club for children aged between 7 to 12 - the Young Brympton Club. Details of both the nursery school and the Young Brympton Club can be found by contacting the House office on 01935 862528.
